About Us |

How We Support Families:
· Parent-to-parent matching (matches trained support parents with parents in similar situations who would like to connect with someone about their child's needs) · Information and referrals · NICU 101 (support for families with infants born prematurely) · Sibshops (a support program for siblings with a brother or sister with special needs) · Parent Network Group (Support meetings for parents of a child with multiple disabilities) · Training for Support Parents · Workshops and trainings for parents · Assistance with Early Intervention services and IFSPs
Family Support Network of Southern Piedmont was organized in 1998 by a group of parents, medical professionals, and staff of community agencies serving children with special needs. FSN of Southern Piedmont is sponsored by The Arc of Cabarrus County. As a full affiliate of FSN of North Carolina, a state-wide network of local programs, FSN of Southern Piedmont serves families living in Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanly, Iredell and Union Counties. |
